The World Needs Your Work
To say that 2025 isn't going as planned would be an understatement. Fires in LA, world events, and a never-ending stream of news of the insanity out of Washington, DC had me evaluating how to navigate what I write about, talk about, and share.
Things that seemed important to me a few weeks ago sure didn't seem important to me now. I didn't want to appear to be tone-deaf. More importantly, I didn't want to BE tone-deaf.
I asked myself, does my work even matter?
Many of my clients and friends have been asking themselves the same thing.
And where I've landed is that yes, our work DOES matter, even if it does in the smallest possible way.
Maybe your work is:
Creating something beautiful
Supporting someone in need
Bringing people together
Promoting someone's work
Making us laugh
Lending a hand
Sharing valuable wisdom
Donating to worthy causes
Teaching valuable information
Spreading much-needed joy
I could go on.
So, I'm not giving up on trying to do good work and creating a ripple effect no matter how small. I hope you're not giving up either because the world needs your work now more than ever. I'm cheering you on!
