What You Measure Gets Managed
When I worked in the corporate world, much of what I did was measured. Sales numbers, open rates, profit margins, etc.. If it was important, it was on a report that was updated and reviewed, sometimes daily.
When I first started my own coaching business, I resisted that sort of tracking and reporting. It felt too corporate. That was a mistake.
What You Measure Gets Managed.
Consider your experience weighing yourself when you're on a diet, or counting your steps, or watching your 401K balance grow. What we measure really gets our attention.
Is there something that needs your attention you're not tracking?
The number of new designs you've created?
The number of newsletters sent?
The number of meaningful networking conversations had?
The number of date nights with your spouse?
The number of miles logged?
Why not start tracking it today?
