I love the work of Dr. Andrew Weil, a Harvard-trained doctor who embraced an east-meets-west approach to medicine years before it went mainstream.

Lately, I've been recommending his 4-7-8 breathing practice to clients dealing with occasional anxiety, overwhelm, stress, or sleeplessness - which is basically everybody.

Weil recommends doing this practice for a couple of minutes twice daily to calm the body and mind. How easy is that? Check out his demonstration in this video:
